Scrolling through Netflix tonight and this is the most rewatchable movie for me along with The GoodFellas, Forrest Gump, Scent of a Woman.
Margot and Alison are excellent actresses, the story flows at an interesting pace and the soundtrack is very good.
I vaguely remember the real life story growing up and its fun to research it and see how big of a deal it actually was.
When I found out Margot didn't do all of the skating I wasn't even annoyed, she definitely gave her best and it makes sense they brought in a professional for the big stuff.
The physical and emotional abuse scenes are hard to watch but they're important for understanding her life and personality.
Highly recommend this movie for anyone looking for a true story that is well made from different perspectives.
