Tottenham vs Wolves Prediction: Last Match Analysis

Chelsea twice threw away a lead in a 2-2 draw as Tottenham snatched an equaliser in the 96th minute.

It was a spectacular volley from Kalidou Koulibaly that put the Blues ahead on Sunday, but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg equalized the match from outside the box with a contentious equaliser, causing Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte to clash on the touchline.

Dejan Kulusevski was outmuscled by N’Golo Kante within nine minutes, but Raheem Sterling played a perfectly weighted pass to Reece James for Chelsea’s second. Tuchel’s run along the touchline was reminiscent of Mourinho’s, and he escaped trouble due to having already been cautioned.

Following the opening day loss at Leeds, Bruno Lage named an unchanged starting XI.

Bruno Lage’s side played some entertaining, attacking football at times, but missed big chances to make their dominance count. Sa saved the day by denying Aleksandar Mitrovic from the penalty spot when Rayan Ait-Nouri fouled Bobby De Cordova-Reid in the area as well.

Although Hee Chan Hwang was denied by Marek Rodak and Morgan Gibbs-White turned over at the back post on the stretch, it’s a point to build on for the old gold.

It was back on home soil for Wolves, but they looked very different from how they looked back in May. Attack was the order of the game, and they started exactly how Bruno Lage has asked them to in preseason and twice got in behind the Fulham defence, only to be denied by Rodak on both occasions.
