Which film have you appreciated more as you/it’s got older?

Which film has got better with age for you, whether this be a result of you getting older and understanding more meaning in aspects of it, or just developing a greater appreciation of the classic it has become.

For me it has to be Ridley Scott’s ‘Alien’ (1979).

As a gen X, I first saw it far to young at around 9 I think (gotta love it when grandparents were looking after me!); so understandably I didn’t want to go near it again for a few more years.

Now I’m well into my 40s, I have discovered a whole new appreciation for everything that came together to make what has become an absolute classic.

Having recently watched the making of documentary’Memory’, it has only made me admire it more.

What’s yours?
